my adventure & volunteer trip to Tahiti – day 9, Teahupoo & Papeete

This post is the ninth in a series of 10 (one for each day) of my adventure & volunteer trip to Tahiti, where I’m reliving this amazing adventure and sharing it with you. Ever since travel has come to a grinding halt (like everything else), I’m very grateful to have had this experience and look forward to future adventures.

nana Teahupoo – Ia orana Papeete

Time to say goodbye to beautiful Teahupoo and head back to Papeete. What an amazing adventure it’s been. As we pack up and pile into the van, we will be taking with us many fond memories of all the adventures that we have experienced & friends that we have met along the way. I look forward to reliving & reminiscing them through my blog.

We grab a quick lunch, check in to the same hotel when we first arrived and prepare for our next adventure.

Today is the last official day of the trip since some folks in the group are heading home later today or early tomorrow. We celebrate on a catamaran, relaxing & reliving this once in a lifetime outing with island drinks in hand.

A very happy me, on a catamaran, somewhere in the middle of the beautiful south pacific ocean. Life doesn’t get any better than this!

I hope you enjoyed day 9 of my adventure & volunteer trip to Tahiti. Another wonderful day in paradise. I can’t believe that tomorrow is the last day. While I thought it would be bittersweet, it turned out to be quite a surprising finale to this already very memorable trip. Stay tuned for the last post.
